I finally figured out why the hell I suck at making comics: I'm always trying to do it in photoshop and emulate everyone else who has a decent comic going. I am getting a little better with photoshop, but I can't possibly be up on the level of Bleedman or any of the others.

Another thing, I'm getting a wee bit tired of doing Bleed fanart. That's why I posted all those practice manga pics in my gallery. I have a great plot for a FLCL manga and am working on the artwork and detailing the story.

The 6 episodes and 2 mangas of FLCL were great, but I desire more and that's why I'm making it myself. No excuses for procrastination and no quitting on this one. It took me an hour to draw the three pages I did (in mediocre quality) and I am pretty sure that if I sat down and drew, scanned and inserted text that I could get more than a few pages done a week. I lack a scanner unfortunately so I'd have to make one trip to Wal-mart a week with all the pages. This venture is actually feasible just because I'm doing it hand drawn and black and white.

Hope someone is looking forward to this because I am.
